WARRINGTON Town are closing in on the top three in the North West Netball Premier Division.
This is following a 62-46 home victory over Trafford, who defeated them by one point when the two sides met last year.
The win leaves them only three points behind third-place Bury, who themselves fell to a home loss against league leaders Chester.
Since switching Courtney Perks to goal attack and Elena Forde to centre, the team have gone from strength to strength, with coach Yvonne Sampson admitting her changes have re-energised the squad.
